If you think about it, anything can be viewed as a work of art. A pothole in England was the canvas for a vandal that decided to use yellow spray paint to create a penis.
The pothole on Brighton Road in Lancing, U.K., was the perfect place for the vandal’s artistic piece. West Sussex County Council said reports of graffiti have been made to them but need to actually be sent to Adur and Worthing Council as the authority responsible for cleaning.
A West Sussex County Council spokesman said: “This road has monthly driven inspections where any repairs needed would be identified in accordance with the county council’s highways inspection manual.
“We have also not received any reports of potholes at this location, reports can be made on our website.”
This issue highlights other events, including a similar vandalism in Downsview Crescent, Uckfield, in May 2023, which resulted in the affected potholes being fixed the next day.
