Woman Discovers Two Pythons Behind Her Microwave

Finding one snake in your home can be a terrifying experience but what about finding a pair? A reptile wrangler was called to an Australian home where a resident had discovered the reason her microwave was moving around: a pair of mating pythons.

Stuart McKenzie from Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers responded to the call from a woman that found the two carpet pythons in the middle of some heating passion in her kitchen. The snake catchers posted a video on Facebook of their experience capturing the reptiles.

Originally, the woman said she had noticed her microwave had moved from its original location and was unsure as to what caused the shift. She decided to look behind it, only to find the pair of mating snakes. The woman called the snake catchers to her home in Buderim to assist with their removal.

“We arrived at a home in Buderim where two decent-sized Carpet Pythons had come into a lady’s kitchen through an open window and decided to snuggle up behind the microwave! We were able to get there very quickly and relocate the two love birds back out into the bush where they belong,” the company said.
