Deer can be a bit wobbly on their feet sometimes, which was exactly the case when a deer crashed through the window of a classroom at an Alabama elementary school.
Staff members arrived at Evergreen Elementary School to discover that the deer struggled to walk on the school’s waxed floors before wandering around the building “for a couple of hours.” Security cameras captured footage of the animal as it made its way into a classroom over a weekend.
Evergreen Elementary School shared some footage of the incident on Facebook. The caption for the post said: “OH DEER! Yes, that’s what we said when we arrived at school this morning! We had an unexpected intruder this weekend that undoubtedly wanted to see all the GREAT things that were going on in our school.”
Staff confirmed the deer was not injured after jumping out of the window to return to the wild. “Once acclimated with the new environment, it jumped out of the window as fast as it entered,” the post read.
