Deputies Find Scissors Inside Arrested Man’s Bum

For a suspect arrested at the La Porte County Jail in Indiana, the discomfort wasn’t coming from the police investigation. Intimidating cops in a dull setting was the least of his concerns. His tension was stemming from hiding an object in his rear.

According to the La Porte County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post, a man who was arrested had a bizarre object lodged inside his anal cavity. The mystery object was revealed after a mandatory body scan and officers managed to get their hands on a sharp pair of scissors.

Lieutenant Jeff Holt, assistant jail commander of operations at the La Porte County Jail in Indiana, was helping deputies with the body search. The arrested man was adamant about not doing the body scan but he didn’t have a choice since all arrestees are required to complete a “SecurPASS” Body Scan before entering the prison.

The arrestee reluctantly agreed to participate in the body scan and upon reviewing the results, Holt spotted a random object stuck inside the man’s anal cavity. Due to his prior experience, Holt was able to catch that the object was metal and directed the man to a different room for a closer examination.

The man had to go through a second body scan and the object shifted around his rear, making it easier for the jail commander to identify the scissors. Although it’s not comfortable having deputies shove fingers up the ass, the scissors were removed without incident.

“The body scanner is an incredible state-of-the-art tool used to ensure the safety and security of all within the La Porte County Jail. Lieutenant Holt is commended for relying upon his training and experience, and successfully preventing a dangerous edged object from making its way fully into the jail,” concluded Captain Derek J. Allen.

People on Facebook were able to see the humor in the man’s search. One person wrote: “Better not have been the good fabric scissors!” While another added, “Well, that sounds kinda shi*ty.”

Another wrote: “Arts and crafts have been cancelled.”
