Christmas is a family-friendly holiday but The Range’s shoppers are doing a double-take at the latest Christmas decorations at its Paignton store that feels a bit R-rated.
Visitors were laughing at an inflatable Santa doing his job of bending down to drop the present by the tree while a dog takes a bite into his butt. Customers are blowing up with the responses and expressing thoughts about a naughty sidekick added to Santa’s list.
This decoration can grace other people’s homes for $80 and it’s available for sale on the company’s website. The product description reads: “For a novelty accessory in your garden this Christmas, this Inflatable Santa with Tree and Dog is perfect. Not only does this Inflatable Santa light up, but you know it will get a few giggles from the neighbors, which is what spreading Christmas cheer is all about. Place it in your garden and watch it become the center of attention!” Christmas cheer is guaranteed to evoke joy, laughter and racing thoughts as the bum-biting dog takes center stage.
After the chatter of the customers, The Range confirmed online that the display is an innocent festive addition to the porch. Although there is nothing scandalous about these inflatables, customers can still choose to interpret them as they wish.
They wrote: “There’s a little bit of confusion surrounding this product and whether the dog is biting Santa b*m or something a little more d̶o̶g̶g̶y̶. Sorry, dogdy!! We can confirm that the dog is in fact chasing Santa – make of that what you will.”
