While receiving free items is a perk, it’s less so when the products won’t stop coming. An Australian woman received more than 150 beverages delivered to her house unannounced for several days.
Laura Rafferty said that the bottles started arriving via DoorDash on April 22, 2023. The hundreds of dollars worth of drinks came in the form of Gatorade, Powerade, Coke and Fanta to her home in Sydney, Australia.
The entire situation was so crazy that Rafferty took to TikTok to share the bizarre showing. To get the orders to stop, Rafferty contacted DoorDash directly and was told she could keep the 150 bottles.
Unfortunately, the identity of the person who ordered the drinks remained a mystery. Apparently, the phone number used to place the orders has since been disconnected.
“It is such a bizarre thing and I’m still trying to find the answers,” Rafferty said. Instead of keeping all the beverages, Rafferty ended up donating several of them to the North Bondi Surf Life Saving Club.
