Valentine’s Day is for those who have loved and lost. What better way to get over an ex-lover than by having the opportunity to bury their name in kitty litter for Valentine’s Day?
The Rhode Island Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is running a “Love Stinks” promotion for Valentine’s Day, which will allow members of the public to get some sweet revenge on their exes.
“For a $5 donation, we will write the name of an ex-friend, lover, or even something you wish to bury in a litter box for our shelter cats to poop all over,” RISPCA officials wrote on the fundraiser’s website. “How’s that for stinky retripootion?”
The Rhode Island animal shelter also posted Facebook about the promotion saying, “Valentine’s Day isn’t for everyone…but EVERYONE can appreciate this!”
The fundraiser is expected to run through Valentine’s Day.
