Watch out, there’s a sheep on the loose. A sheep was spotted running loose in a parking lot near a Costco store in Brooklyn, New York.
The New York Police Department said on X that the sheep was seen roaming around in the Sunset Park neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. Officers from the New York Police Department Special Ops unit worked to wrangle the animal up and took it to Brooklyn Animal Control.
“Not baaaaad for a group of cops with no experience shepherding a sheep,” police wrote online.
The sheep was taken to a new permanent home at Skylands Animal Sanctuary in New Jersey since the origins of the animal remain unclear.
