South Korea’s Rocket Launch Fools People of UFO Sightings

Military officials are supposed to protect civilians from their greatest fears but sometimes they are responsible for bringing those fears to life.

South Korea’s military force launched an unannounced rocket ship into the air and it spooked the public who suspected it may be a UFO or a North Korean missile launch. The military officials later confirmed it test-fired a solid-fueled rocket.

In a public statement, the Defense Ministry confirmed that the rocket launch was part of its plans to build a space-based surveillance capability and strengthen its defence mechanisms. The public wasn’t informed because it involved confidential military security issues.

The secret mission didn’t go unnoticed. People spotted a vapor in white-to-red ombre coming from behind a bright white light in the sky. South Koreans were panicking on social media when they witnessed a flying object with a rainbow-colored vapor trail.

Some said they thought it was a North Korean missile launch and had fears about the possibility of war. Others assumed it was a drone light show or a supernatural phenomenon. When the cause remains unclear, it’s easy to dump it as a supernatural act from the universe.

South Korean police received hundreds of complaints regarding the mystery flying object and lights across the country. There was a public apology issued by the military force for the confusion and unintended scare.

South Korean officials explained that they intend to use a solid-fueled rocket to put the nation’s first spy satellite into orbit. Solid-fuel rockets cut back on launch times and are simpler and more cost-effective than liquid-fuel rockets.

So no UFOs or North Korean missiles. Peace is restored and South Koreans can put the emigration plans to rest as they can carry on with a calm mind.
