Air travel is not always a peaceful journey without the occasional hiccups. Patience is tested when things don’t go the desirable way and a lady from Miami let the frustrations get the best of her when she ripped out a computer monitor and slammed it at a gate agent. With bystanders observing the incident unfold, the whole fiasco was recorded for an online audience as well.
This fight took place at Miami International Airport and the woman lost her cool with the American Airlines staff during a packed boarding experience. When words were insufficient to get her point across, she got her hands on a computer screen and tossed it at the agent.
Flying screens left jaws wide open as observers watched in shock. Surprisingly, the agent kept a calm demeanor despite the physical violence on the job.
The lady in the video was later revealed to be at her breaking point after she saw her kids had walked away from the gate without informing her. Then, it was just a domino effect from there with the agent taking the fall for the kid’s mischief. The agent had a bruised shoulder from the hit.
The traveler is subject to $10,000 in damages and “arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, criminal mischief and aggravated battery.”
Mom is not always the best example.
