Accused Porch Pirate Seen Wearing Women’s Underwear as Mask

One way to commit a crime effectively is by concealing your identity. A porch pirate suspect didn’t get the memo and decided to don a pair of women’s underwear as a mask to hide his face. It’s safe to say it didn’t work the way he was expecting.

Authorities from the Tulsa Police Department caught the suspected porch pirate wearing “an unusual and questionably effective mask, aka women’s underwear over his face. Surveillance images captured enough of the suspect that officers were able to track down his vehicle.

An officer on the case recognized him from previous porch pirate incidents where he was seen wearing women’s underwear as a mask. Authorities then tracked down the suspect at his home attempting to capture him there.

While suspect Spencer Gougler was inside, he refused to speak to the officers. When police executed a search warrant, Gougler was arrested. Despite being released after posting his $17,000 bail, Gougler now faces several charges including larceny, grand larceny, and knowingly concealing stolen property.
