Moove over, there’s a cow coming through. A cow got itself into a tricky situation when it needed to get a lift from a helicopter after having fallen into a lake.
The cow ended up in the water after it was searching for food near an Italian lake. Authorities confirmed that the animal fell into the water and made its way to an inaccessible area on the opposite side of Lake Varano.
To assist the cow, fire and rescue personnel from Foggia and Bari responded to the scene. Once there, they outfitted the cow with a harness that was connected to a rescue helicopter, which transported the cow to the safety of the other side of the lake.
A video of the incident was shared on Facebook, which hilariously shows the cow being helped into the harness to be flown away by the awaiting helicopter. Once secure, the cow can be seen soaring through the sky on its way back to safety.
