Dior Releases $230 Scented Water for Babies

If you were ever looking for your baby to have a specific scent, Dior might have just the product for you. The fashion house recently released a skincare line for babies, specifically designed with their delicate skin in mind.

The Baby Dior line is meant to be used for bathtime and consists of a number of luxury products. The La Mousse Très Fondante foaming cleanser is for the hair, face and body and retails for $95. Another cleanser called the L’Eau Très Fraîche is for sensitive babies and also goes for $95. Lastly, the Le Lait Très Tendre moisturizing hydration milk is a whopping $115.

But the pièce de résistance has to be the Bonne Étoile, a $230 “scented water” designed to act as a perfume for infants. The product was created by Dior’s Perfume Director Francis Kurkdjian and is formulated without alcohol and contains hints of pear, wild rose and white musks.

Sticking with the brand’s history, this isn’t actually the first perfume for babies. Baby Dior released its first-ever perfume in 1970.
