Driver of $160,000 Supercar Slammed for Selfish Parking

Parking etiquette can either be a hot or a miss for some people. On a warm, sunny day in Sydney, Australia, the driver of a red Audi R8 decided to take up not one but two parking spots at a full car park beside a beach.

A beachgoer snapped a picture of the park job and uploaded it to Reddit with the caption: “One of the busiest beach days of the year and this a-hole parked like this…” Just because your car costs more than most people’s doesn’t mean you get special parking privileges.

Many users were shocked by the park job and voiced their opinions in the comments of the original post. One person wrote: “Too many w***ers getting around these days thinking that they are entitled to just s*** on everyone else because they have cash.”

Another asked: “I don’t get the logic here… Presumably they’re trying to avoid others opening doors into their car. But aren’t they just begging passersby to do much worse?”

Perhaps someone else might get a bit of revenge on the flashy driver. One said: “Just take your lifted Hilux (pickup truck) down there and park it on top so that it’s still two cars in two spots.”

Another offered: “I once heard that snail/slug trails on glass are near impossible to remove (water makes it worse). It would be a terrible shame if some of the car park’s local slugs and snails found their way onto the double-parked windscreen.”
