Man Impersonates Army Officer to Win Woman’s Heart

Dress to impress on dates but don’t snatch an officer’s uniform to woo a woman during courtship. A Chinese man was locked down after his dating attempts and it’s not the blissful romantic commitment that’s keeping him down. He ended up behind bars after his lies were exposed that he had posed as a senior colonel in the Chinese army to charm a love interest.

A man, reported by police officials as Zhu, visited the COVID-19 testing at a medical facility in Ao Township with a uniform that gave off the impression of a high-ranking officer. He had proof in the form of identification documents on him. When the staff checked the documents through their system, they couldn’t find his name in the Chinese army so they turned him over to the police.

During the police investigation, law enforcement officials weren’t sold on the story. Zhu was unable to convince the authorities of his rank in the military, forcing the man to confess that he wasn’t a colonel. He purchased his uniform online and forged the identification documents.

Zhu was itching to get his hands on the uniform to land dates. He admitted that he had always dreamed of gaining a position to attract women. Rather than go through the military recruitment process, he purchased a colonel uniform four years ago and called himself a senior colonel in the army’s rocket division.

The prestigious fabric did launch him into the hearts of women, but it was short-lived. Zhu tricked ladies with his fake job title and it opened up opportunities for him in the community. However, impersonating army personnel did get the lover in handcuffs and it wasn’t the erotic kind of sexual fantasies.

Zhu can find true love once he’s free from jail and he can leave the uniform as a thing of the past. The right lady will love him beyond the projected image and job rank.
