Losing a wallet can feel like the worst thing in the world. Sanitation workers were kind enough to help a New York woman search through a pile of trash to find her lost wallet.
The New York City Department of Sanitation posted a photo on Instagram that showed the massive truckload of trash that held a Staten Island woman’s missing wallet. “After calling us, we were able to hold the truck for searching,” the post said.
Once the truck was put on hold, the woman arrived at the scene and joined sanitation workers in digging through the garbage heap to find her missing wallet. She looked for the “needle in the haystack”… and success!” the post read.
A second photo was also shared by the department, which showed the woman reunited with her lost wallet.
