Having a New Year’s Eve baby can be special but what if it actually complicates things a bit more than expected? Two couples from Connecticut and New Jersey welcomed twin babies who ended up being born on different days, in different months and in different years.
At Yale New Haven Hospital in Connecticut, parents Mykel and Aliyah Kiyomi Morris welcomed baby boy Seven Morris at 11:59 p.m. on December 31, 2023. Souli Morris was born just minutes later, at 12:02 a.m. on January 1, 2024.
Eve and Billy, a couple from Merchantville, New Jersey, welcomed their son Ezra at 11:48 p.m. on December 31, 2023. His younger brother, Ezekiel, arrived at 12:28 a.m. on January 1, 2024.
In each shocking case, one baby was born slightly before midnight on New Year’s Eve while the other was born in the early hours of New Year’s Day. While this might be confusing for the families moving forward, each baby was reported to be healthy and doing well after the overwhelming evening.
