Venomous Snake Found Hiding in Bedroom

While dirty clothes deter most people, a snake may have found its new home. A snake catcher was called to a home in Australia to find the second-most venomous snake in the world hiding in the resident’s bedroom.

Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers 24/7 posted a video on Facebook, which showed snake catcher Daniel Rumsey’s encounter with a juvenile eastern brown snake in a Queensland, Australia, woman’s bedroom. In the video, the snake could be seen slithering through a pile of laundry.

“Literally trying to hide among the undies, on the second story, is the second most venomous snake on the planet,” Rumsey can be heard saying in the video.

The bedroom’s resident was thankful for the snake catcher and mentioned so in a comment on the original post. “Lucky he stuck his head under the housemate’s door, otherwise he would have gone undetected and I might have copped a bite when I went to bed,” she wrote.

As for the snake, the serpent was relocated to a wilderness area.
