Drug Dealer Hands Out Cocaine Samples

What better way to get arrested than by handing out business cards for an illegal activity? A Canadian man decided to get his company off the ground by handing out business cards with a small sample of cocaine attached.

According to police, Seyyed Amir Razavi distributed the cards with a sample of cocaine outside a casino in Calgary, Alberta. Investigators first learned about the cards in late December 2023 and launched a probe that saw the 30-year-old arrested on February 3, 2024.

After a police search was conducted, officers discovered Razavi’s auto and residence yielded 50 baggies of cocaine, a digital scale with drug residue and $1,280 in cash. A box of business cards with the name “Alex Lee” were also seized.

The cards were handed out and contained a small Ziploc bag containing cocaine stapled to it. “Lee” was listed as a “driver” on the cards, which also contained contact information.

Razavi was arrested on narcotics possession and trafficking charges. He was released from custody earlier this week and is scheduled for a February 26, 2024, court appearance.
