Escaped Goats Take Over California Neighborhood

Goats on the loose can cause a whole bunch of problems. A group of goats escaped from their home in California and took over a neighborhood before eventually being rounded up by police.

The Pinole Police Department shared a video on Facebook where the Shea Drive neighborhood can be seen completely overrun with escaped goats. Everywhere you look, a goat happens to be there minding its own business as if nothing is wrong.

Police officers had to their shepherding skills to the test to round up the herd of goats after they escaped their enclosure. Fortunately, despite the large herd, officers had no problems returning the animals back home.

While the owners of the goats weren’t mentioned in the post, the escape did take place the same day Bay Area Rapid Transit announced it would be replacing its herd of fire mitigation goats with a flock of sheep.
