Drunk Man Tries to Steal Dead Russian President’s Body

A drunk night is incomplete without more people adding to the party so a Russian man went the extra mile in securing a body for the adventure. Any random body wasn’t good enough so he went big with a tomb in Moscow, Russia, and tried to steal a dead president’s corpse for the thrill.

He wasn’t walking out in a loving embrace with the corpse as police officers were able to get him in handcuffs. The solo party was crashed by police officers who arrested him for trying to steal the body of former Russian President Vladimir Lenin from a mausoleum. The place is packed with security guards, making the stunt a difficult one to pull off successfully.

The anonymous man tried to conclude his night by taking the showcase stuffed body of Lenin with him. The drunkard pulled at the door in an attempt to get inside the mausoleum and it didn’t work. Armed police officers stopped him from trying to get his hands on the corpse.

A police statement read: “A man was arrested when he tried to break into the mausoleum where Vladimir Lenin’s body is located and remove it. It was later discovered that the man was drunk.”

The man tried to dart away from the police and escape the investigation with little luck. Officers weren’t able to get him to explain his intention for wanting to take home the corpse of the former president. After all, what use could he have for a high-stakes corpse? The risk of the theft must exceed any potential reward.

Since this attempted robbery incident, reports show that there was more than alcohol affecting his judgment as he was also battling a mental disorder.
