When newborn babies are given gifts, they’re often toys, clothes or other baby-related products. One lucky baby is set for life after his rich fathers already bought a yacht worth $2.8 million and a designer wardrobe worth $34,600.
Barrie Drewitt-Barlow and his fiancé Scott Hutchinson welcomed their newborn baby Romeo Tarquin via surrogate. To celebrate the occasion, Drewitt-Barlow wanted only the best baby clothes for his little man. “We have literally bought every designer that you can imagine already. Burberry, Versace, Dior, Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, if a designer sells baby clothes we have snapped them up,” he said. The first outfit the baby was spoiled with was from Gucci.
Clothes aren’t the only thing this newborn has been treated to. “We just spent £2.5m on a yacht for Romeo and named it after him,” Drewitt-Barlow said. “We want to give him the same start in life as the other kids so we have set up a trust fund for him.”
Before Romeo came along, the couple’s two-year-old daughter was the baby everyone spoiled. Even today, she’s still treated like a princess so there’s no need for her to be jealous.
“In Valentina’s bubble, it is Christmas day every day. She gets what she wants when she wants it. She has a personal chef, a whole playroom full of the latest gadgets and toys, full-time live-in nanny and a team of house staff that take care of her every need, including a full-time hair stylist who styles her hair every day,” Drewitt-Barlow said.
This family is certainly living a life most of us could only dream of.
