Man Greets Cops With Cocaine Stuffed in His Butt

Lewis Roberts, a 44-year-old man, was a passenger in a car that was searched by the Cheshire Police. Cops stopped the car after suspicions of drug trafficking between Liverpool and Northwich.

Turns out, Roberts wasn’t just sitting idle, as police found a “large ball” of crack cocaine dodged between his buttocks. At the beginning of the investigation, Roberts insisted that the cocaine was intended to be for personal use.

Upon further investigation, it became clear that it was meant for drug deals. He was held in prison for 44 months after he pleaded guilty to “possessing heroin and crack cocaine with intent to supply” at Cheshire Magistrates Court.

During the search, officers also found a bag of heroin and a mobile phone in the back of the car. The value of the drugs is quoted to be around $6,000.

Detective Constable Claire Heatley said: “Thankfully, as a result of our work, we were able to intercept Roberts and remove almost £5,000 worth of class-A drugs from the streets of mid-Cheshire. While Roberts is now behind bars, our crackdown on county lines dealers continues, and we will use all the tools available to us to ensure that Cheshire remains a hostile environment for criminals.”

A 35-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman were in the vehicle and later arrested on suspicion of drug offences.

Chief Inspector Leeroy Moss added: “Illegal drugs have a hugely detrimental impact and we are committed to doing all we can to remove those involved in the supply of such drugs from our communities.”
