Apparently, good looks can get you in trouble. A woman claims she was arrested for being “so good-looking” but officers had something else in mind for her to be taken into custody.
Las Vegas police arrested a woman at Harry Reid International Airport for skipping out on a restaurant tab and violating other airport rules. The woman, later identified as Hend Bustami, told officers that she was actually under arrest because she was “so good-looking.” Definitely no confidence issues there.
According to reports, police were called to a Chili’s restaurant at the airport regarding a report of a woman who had left without paying her bill. When officers arrived at the location, they were unable ti locate the woman right away.
TSA agents became involved and notified police that a woman matching Bustami’s description was sleeping near the security checkpoint, hindering their operations. Officers located Bustami in the baggage claim area and tried to detain her. According to police, she was “belligerent with officers, saying she was being harassed because cops [had] never seen anyone as pretty as her.”
She also added “that she was going to spit on all [the officers] and that officers were perverts and were trying to rape her because they [had] never seen anyone as good looking.”
Bustami was booked into the Clark County Detention Center where police learned she had a warrant out of Las Vegas Municipal Court.
