StockGro, an Indian-based finance start-up, has recently posted an application on its LinkedIn page, which has since then garnered a lot of attention. They’re looking to hire for the role of a chief meme officer to make finance and the stock market laugh. Maybe Generation Z will learn a thing or two.
They even announced the monthly salary for the job, around $1,200 a month, which is typical for that role at a startup in India. And who wouldn’t love making memes as their job?
According to the post, the perfect candidate should be creative and passionate about finance and memes, have a good sense of humor, excellent writing abilities and be familiar with various social media platforms.
