A smooth butthole is the ultimate goal since a hairless behind can allow for a clean wipe without any residue. Cats have the luxury to get their buttholes shaved with this unique advertisement from Monarch Vet Tech Services.
A Twitter user from Toronto, Rudy Limeback, shared a flyer for a service that isn’t seen in many grooming salons or vet clinics. It was stapled to a poll outside of a Toronto apartment complex and read: “Does your cat need a butt shave? We do that and much more AND we come to you!”
On their company website, they have more details stating: “Bum/Sanitary Shaves for Cats: starting at $45-$80, so it’s $45 for a very light trim around a non-soiled bum/urogenital area, if the back end is VERY soiled with feces or urine soaked fur or mats the price will fall closer to the $80 range depending on severity).” The dirty poopers are expected to pay up to get the hair removal procedure.
Humans may be impressed by this service but the cats may not be readily sold on this invasion of privacy.
