Lost Dog Wanders Into Police Station

When a pet goes missing, getting help from the authorities can be a big boost. A lost pup took matters into its own hands by walking right into a local police station for assistance.

While out for a walk in England, a border collie named Rosie made her escape. After wandering around away from her owner, she walked through the front door of a police station through the building’s automatic doors.

Leicestershire Police posted CCTV footage of the incident on Facebook showing Rosie making her way into the Loughborough Police Station. In the video, she approaches the doors calmly before walking in and apparently taking a seat in the corner.

The caption of the video read: “Our staff fetched some water for Rosie and made fast friends with plenty of fuss. Thankfully she was wearing a collar so a lead was available to contact Rosie’s owner, who was delighted she had been found safe and well.”

Rosie was able to reunite with her owner who said the canine had wandered off while out for a walk with a second dog.
