This is your typical what you ordered vs. what actually arrived tale and boy, did Pizza Hut let this man down. A Canadian man ordered breadsticks from Pizza Hut, only to receive slices of unseasoned, cooked dough instead.
Luke Vice received a promo through his email from Pizza Hut about a gameday special they were offering on breadsticks. The email explained that customers could treat themselves to an order of regular breadsticks for free if they used a specific coupon at checkout.
Vice thought the coupon was too good to be true and it turned out that his instincts were spot on. When he opened up his box of breadsticks, what awaited him was a surprise for the ages.
Instead of getting a delicious, warm pile of Pizza Hut breadsticks, he received a box of unseasoned dough. Even the employees couldn’t be bothered to completely slice the dough all the way through.
Looks like next time, it might be safe to skip the free breadsticks.
