Rio Movie Theater Floods During Titanic Screening

Nature can spare people from having to pay an additional fee for an immersive 4D experience.

A movie theater in São Gonçalo, Rio de Janeiro, flooded unexpectedly during the screening of the film Titanic. The movie made a reappearance on the big screen in a 3D version to honor its 25th anniversary.

People were surprised to witness water flooding into the cinema at a pivotal scene. The water was pouring down from the ceiling of the auditorium and started to flood the corridors.

In a work of divine timing, the storm on the screen can be experienced as a part of reality.

Gabriel Campos shared on social media his experience: “I went to watch Titanic at the cinema but it was more realistic than I imagined,” he wrote.

Maicon Souza wrote on Twitter: “In São Gonçalo (RJ), due to the rains, a movie theater floods during the screening of the film ‘Titanic.'” His video reveals the aftermath of the situation with puddles everywhere and shocked guests turning their heads to make sense of the situation.

“Guys, they took 3D seriously,” wrote a user.

At least the theater guests didn’t have to face the tragic ending in the film. Although there may have been a little discomfort from the wet shoes, everyone in the room lived to see the next day.
