325 People Clean Shoes for World Record Attempt

Sneakerheads need to keep up the good looks of their shoes in order to stand out from the crowd. A sneaker care company showed just how important cleaning shoes can be on their way to a new Guinness World Record.

Crep Protect, a company specializing in sneaker care products, gathered 325 people at Boxpark in London, England, to complete the mission. They had each person clean a pair of sneakers at the same time to accomplish the feat.

The company announced on Facebook that they had successfully broken the Guinness World Record for most people cleaning a pair of trainers/sneakers simultaneously. The company said: “We are officially the world’s ultimate sneaker care brand. Setting the record of 325 people cleaning a pair of trainers/sneakers simultaneously.

“Thank you to everyone who came down last Sunday and participated in the Guinness World Records attempt! We have been overwhelmed with the support and we’re very grateful to each and every single one of you.”

The event was witnessed by a Guinness World Records adjudicator, who presented the brand with its commemorative certificate at the end of the attempt.
