Customs officers at Frederic Chopin Airport decided to inspect the woman’s luggage after becoming suspicious of her itinerary and her restless behavior. During the examination, airport officials found packages with five kilograms of heroin hidden at the bottom of the suitcase.
Aleksandra Skrzyniarz, a spokeswoman for the prosecutor’s office in Warsaw, said the woman, traveling from Malawi and Kenya through Doha and Warsaw, denied any criminal activity. According to her defense statement, family members had given her the suitcase with gifts for relatives in Canada. This grandma is too cool for society.
