Beyond Meat COO Indulges in Human Flesh

Doug Ramsey, Beyond Meat Chief Operating Officer, may be in the business of plant-based meat substitutes but that doesn’t mean he’s a saint who values non-violence. He prefers human flesh over the meat of dead animals.

Ramsey got into legal trouble after biting a man’s nose in a parking garage shortly after a college football game. The assault took place in a parking garage near Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville after a University of Arkansas football game.

Ramsey allegedly punched through the back windshield of a Subaru after it made contact with the front tire of Ramsey’s car. Based on the police reports, the guilty driver got out of his car and Ramsey allegedly started punching him and bit his nose, “ripping the flesh on the tip of the nose.”

His teeth did more damage than his fists. However, Ramsey’s rage didn’t cool down even after his teeth left a mark. According to the victim and witness, Ramsey threatened to kill the Subaru owner. The death threat sounds like an extreme consequence for a fender bender.

Ramsey’s abusive reaction got him criminal charges related to terroristic threatening and third-degree battery. He paid a short visit to the Washington County, Arkansas, jail and he was released from the handcuffs to track down more walking snacks.
