Barbiecore is having a moment thanks to the upcoming release of the “Barbie” movie. Endless shades of hot pink have been splashed across a number of products, including a new meal from Burger King.
Burger King Brazil might have taken Barbiecore a bit too far after it shared a photo of its new Barbie meal on Twitter. Overall, the meal seems pretty tame with fries, a soda and a milkshake topped with a doughnut glazed in pink icing, all wrapped up in an adorable pink and blue box that includes the Barbie logo.
The problem lies with the burger, which would scare anyone. Shockingly, the burger is topped with a neon pink sauce that has people flipping out. One person wrote: “What the hell is that pink sauce wtf.” Pink sauce itself has went viral in the past for its vibrant color.
Although some people have had their gripes with the meal, others said it could be worse. A user tweeted, “This is much better than the Thailand cheeseburger,” referring to the burger from Burger King Thailand that includes 20 slices of cheese.
