Cooking Duo Beats World Record

Eating fast food once in a day is enough for most people but not for a TikTok cooking duo. The pair were able to earn their third Guinness World Record by visiting 69 fast food restaurants in a 24-hour period in New York City.

Nick DiGiovanni and Lynn Davis chose Manhattan as their location to attempt the world record because all 69 eateries were within an eight-mile radius of each other. During their journey, they were accompanied by Guinness World Records adjudicator Andrew Glass to confirm their attempt.

To accomplish the record, the duo had to purchase and consume at least one food or drunk item at each location. In a clever tactic, DiGiovanni and Davis gave out free food to customers waiting in line because the rules didn’t stipulate that they had to actually consume the food themselves.

The pair’s journey began at 8:30 a.m. with a trip to McDonald’s in Times Square. Other fast food locations they visited on their adventure included Starbucks, Dunkin’ Donuts, Taco Bell, Shake Shack, Burger King, Chick-Fil-A, Wendy’s, Chipotle and Five Guys.

The chefs smashed the record in a cool 7 hours and 15 minutes, even though they lost time by getting stuck in an elevator at Macy’s. The duo previously earned their world records for cooking the world’s largest chicken nugget and the world’s largest cake pop.
