Firefighters Found Missing Plumber Asleep in California Home

A 50-year-old plumber who went to work in a home located in Northridge, Los Angeles, California, was nowhere to be found three hours later. Confused homeowners called for emergency support when he didn’t report back after being in the home’s 2,100-square-foot crawl space.

Los Angeles firefighters got to the bottom of the mysterious disappearance. According to firefighters, the home was built in 1958 with a three-foot-high crawl space under it. The firefighters discovered the plumber inside the crawl space and rescued him by cutting two holes in the floor with chainsaws.

There was no cause for alarm since the plumber dozed off after a long day. The sleeping plumber jolted up when he saw the firefighters and crawled out on his own with no injuries.

The plumber managed to squeeze in some restful sleep on the homeowner’s dime.
