A lucky man from Maryland collected his second $50,000 prize in four months.
A 67-year-old man bought a two-dollar Bonus Match 5 ticket from Ocean Market in Ocean City. The ticket had two lines of numbers — one line of numbers that he picked and another quick pick. He had been playing these numbers for a long time and was pleasantly surprised to discover that the quick pick line won him a $50,000 prize.
“It was my time to hit,” he said. His first win consisted of a $50,000 Pick 5 ticket and the prize money went into supporting his grown children and retirement savings. His latest winnings will pay down the bills.
The Worcester County retailer was awarded a $500 bonus from the lottery for selling a top-prize-winning Bonus Match 5 ticket.
If the third time is the charm, there is still one more win left to go. Perhaps another $50,000?
