They would be plagued with one burning question: why did the couple cheap out on the special meal?
Engaged couples in Indonesia who want to shock their wedding guests may want to take a look at McDonald’s wedding package promotion. The fast food restaurant is offering to deliver bulk orders with hundreds of chicken burgers and hundreds of four-piece McNuggets.
Vegetarian guests may be out of luck since fries may be the only option to satisfy their hunger.
McDonald’s Indonesian Twitter page announced the deal to their followers with the following translated caption: “Let’s make your wedding moment more memorable with the Wedding Mekdi package! For only IDR 3.5 million (roughly $232.51), you can get 100 Chicken Burgers and 100 packages of McNuggets containing 4 pieces.
“There are various other attractive package options available with a minimum order of 200 pieces.”
People ridiculed the options since it’s not the traditional items that make it into a wedding menu. “I feel like sending the McDonald’s wedding package to ONE PERSON,” a user wrote.
“Happy meal ever after…” another added.
The Indonesian McDonald’s Twitter page provided followers with the option of adding a McDonald’s food stall at the weddings.
Although the set-up might kill the vibe, the guests won’t go home starving.
