Ohio Mall Apologizes for Easter Egg Hunt Chaos

Adults can get greedy with Easter egg hunts as they shove kids around to get to the colorful eggs. People were ready to risk injuries to the children if it meant an extra egg or two.

The Greene shopping mall in Beavercreek, Ohio, published a Facebook post apologizing to the community for the Easter egg hunt mess. The mall’s management team had a challenging time with controlling the poor behavior of event participants. The social media post is deleted now but people are still horrified by the inconsiderate actions.

Adults got extra competitive as they pushed children out of the way to get to the two thousand eggs and one hundred prizes scattered in the mall’s center court area. A game that was intended to be for children brought out the ugly side of many adults.

The Greene shamed the behavior of event participants as “absolutely unacceptable” and there were many children that left the event with empty baskets.

If adults were meant to lead by example, then the adults from this competition taught the scarred children that it’s survival of the fittest. Do what you got to do to get the most Easter eggs.
