Have you ever dreamed of a more difficult way to eat dipping sauce with your pizza? You’re now in luck as Pizza Pizza has introduced its very own “Dip Roller,” a new tool that turns dipping sauce into rolling sauce.
Pizza Pizza calls itself “a leader in Canadian pizza dipping,” reporting that 70 percent of its customers say that dipping sauce options are an important factor when deciding where to order pizza. More than 60 percent of people in that survey also said they dip their entire slice.
Coming up with a creative idea to get everyone talking, Pizza Pizza enlisted the help of Zulu Alpha Kilo to create the Dip Roller, which is essentially a miniature version of a paint roller. The tool even comes with an adorably small tray for customers to store the dip in before rolling it across their pizza.
Pizza Pizza claims the Dip Roller will enable customers to evenly apply dipping sauce to their slices of za. “[W]e know the challenges that come with evenly applying Creamy Garlic dip to a triangular pizza slice,” said vice-president of marketing Adrian Fuoco. “There had to be a better way.”
A limited number of Dip Rollers are available online through April 30, 2023. Those who aren’t able to get their hands on one can try their luck through drops across the company’s social channels.
