Shopper Exposes Spelling Fail on Ornament

Even if you have dysfunctional family members, the holiday season is a time to keep positive spirits alive together. Shoppers have started to do their Christmas shopping before the hectic lines kick in at the stores and one shopper had an interesting find in the aisle in a B&M store in the United Kingdom.

Vickie Green spotted an ornament in a store with a spelling fail on the store’s Family Block Sign. It’s intended to spell out the word “family” but it might do more than that with the “A”, “I”, and “Y” filled in with a tree, present, and reindeer. When you remove those three important letters, that leaves viewers with FML: F*** My Life.

Vickie shared the product on the Family Lockdown Tips & Ideas Facebook page. Many people have shared their opinion on the cheerful Christmas ornament. Captioning the post, she wrote: “Don’t think B&M thought this out properly.”

“I’m definitely getting one ladies, I won’t lie — I think it’s my most typed phrase in WhatsApp,” one person joked.

It’s not completely off as FML might be a synonym for family in some cases. It might very well be that family is the source of frustrations and headaches. Another person added: “To me, ‘Family’ and ‘FML’ are one and the same.”

Someone had this product in their home as they wrote: “I’m never looking at my window sill the same again.”

Humor might mend the family drama. This ornament is gold for bringing families together.
