When out for a hike, it’s not often that you come across something this bizarre. A woman was left shocked after she discovered a Homer Simpson-shaped tree when out for a walk in the woods.
Maria Cristalli had been out for a stroll when she noticed a familiar face staring back at her from a tree. The face covered in moss and bark instantly reminded her of Home Simpson from “The Simpsons.”
The moss-covered trunk had his signature beard stubble and two beady eyes that stared right at her as she did a double-take. Cristalli, who lives in Seattle, Washington, posted about the odd discovery online with the simple caption: “Homer Simpson.”
The picture garnered a lot of attention online, with the majority of people agreeing that they can also spot the cartoon character hidden within the tree trunk. One user tried their best at a pun, writing: “Grow-more Stumpson.”
